PEOPLE have been left perplexed by a pink bodysuit which leaves the wearer looking naked.

A Mumsnetter spotted the bonkers outfit on her Facebook page and flagged it up, to much laughter.

She : "This has just popped up on my timeline, and genuinely who would wear this? What is it and why? Have I missed a fashion trend?"

Another woman wrote: "I've given up. I am so far out of touch now I'll never get back in. Like I'd never get into that bodysuit."

A third added: "I'd look like a Richmond's sausage in that!"

Another mum  told how she initially thought the bodysuit went down to the model's ankles. "Had those in the late '80s," she said. "So not going there again. I thought it went down to her feet at first..."

People were also confused by how the shop which is selling it, online shopping store EverthingFivePounds, had styled it - without any bottoms.

"What the hell?! Why haven't they styled it with a skirt or something?! It's hardly intended to be worn as a whole outfit," one person pointed out.

"Where would you even wear it? With bare legs too!" said one person.

"I couldn't really see where the nude one started or ended!" another admitted.

Another person reflected on bodysuits they had worn in the past: "I remember the hell of trying to do a bodysuit up when p***** and headbutting the cubicle door during the battle!" she said.

But a few people liked it.

"I wear bodies most days for work with a high-waisted pencil skirt or jeans," wrote one woman. "Looks much nicer than trying to tuck a top in and ending up with a faux muffin top."
