Prince Harry was given a sneak preview of Meghan Markle’s wedding outfit BEFORE their big day
NO matter how superstitious it may be, not allowing a groom to see his bride in her wedding dress before the big day is one of the oldest traditions around.
But Prince Harry has now revealed that he had a sneak preview of Meghan Markle's wedding outfit ahead of their wedding back in May... and he even played a helping hand in putting it together.
Providing an audio recording for a new exhibition showcasing their official Royal Wedding outfits, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex treated royal fans to be the backstory behind the stunning tiara Meghan wore on the big day.
Reflecting on how she chose the "gorgeous art deco style bandeau tiara", Meghan revealed that her and Harry "had gone to Buckingham Palace to meet with Her Majesty the Queen to select one of the options that were there."
She jokingly added: "This was an incredibly surreal day as you can imagine."
After trying on a selection of the Queen's jewellery, Meghan chose the elegant diamond bandeau design "because it was so clean and simple".
In what was an adorable joint decision, Harry also revealed that he helped Meghan make the all-important choice.
He told his wife: "It was the one that suited the best, the one that looked the best on you without question."
Admitting that he'd bucked tradition by helping his wife with her bridal outfit, Harry then added: "I shouldn't have really been there."
But considering how the couple are expecting their first baby in Spring 2019, we're going to go ahead and say that breaking this superstition hasn't brought them any bad luck.
Reflecting on their special day, the couple then thanked The Queen for her "very sweet" and "incredible" loan.
As part of the exhibition A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle's Givenchy gown, embroidered veil and The Queen's tiara are currently on display at Windsor Castle.
Prince Harry's exact military uniform unfortunately won't be featured, but a replica has been created for the purpose of the exhibition.
In even more Royal news, fans are split over whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should save their tactile royal tour displays for in private.
And this is the reason Meghan Markle's baby bump looks BIGGER in the evening than it does during the day.
Plus fans think Meghan Markle's ring is proof that she's having a baby in April.
