EAGLE-EYED fans claim that Meghan Markle’s new diamond ring could be proof she is having a baby in April.
When she attended an Invictus event in Australia this month, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, wore three stackable rings by Canadian brand Ecksand.
Fans have claimed that the different birthstones in the rings have significant meaning for the duchess.
They claim Meghan’s August birthday is represented by the green peridot stone, Prince Harry’s September birthday is the blue sapphire, and the third centre ring has a diamond.
People are speculating that this diamond addition means her baby is due in April.
This fits in with the rumours that Meghan may be four months pregnant, instead of just beyond the 12-week mark, as was previously reported.
The rings were pointed out on social media by royal fan account @DuchyofSuccess.
The account tweeted saying: “I'm hoping Meghan's stacked rings represent their birthstones and Baby Sussex is an April baby.
“Meghan's birthstone- green peridot. Baby Sussex birthstone-diamond. Harry's birthstone- blue sapphire.”
The three rings certainly aren’t cheap, with Ecksand’s Sapphire Showcase Stackable costing $900 CAD (£535) and the Ecksand Showcase Diamond Marquise Stackable ring, priced at $980 CAD (£582).
There doesn’t appear to be a peridot version on the website, but her ring could be custom.
Royal fans have been quick to weigh in on the ring debate, and to get excited about what this could mean.
One fan replied: “So....... it's an April baby after all? I think is a YES.”
Another said: “I think so. I’m hoping their baby is an Aries.”
And one added: “Tribute to Baby Sussex?... This is so cute if true.”
Kensington Palace was contacted but declined to comment.
Aussie singer Missy Higgins claimed Meghan is already four months pregnant after meeting the Duchess of Sussex following the couple's baby news.
Posting on Instagram after the event, she wrote: "What an honour to meet the beautiful Duchess today!
"She was such a sweetheart. I said I felt sorry for her having to do all these meet-and-greets while 4 months pregnant! What a trooper. "
This would mean that Meghan is around the 17 or 18 week mark, making her due date the beginning of April.
The good news came just hours after Meghan and Prince Harry, 34, touched down in Australia for the first leg of their 16-day royal tour Down Under.
Their news came nearly five months to the day that they were married in a lavish ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
