A new poll has revealed the nation’s go-to styles between the sheets, and both males and females agreed on their top favourite.
Missionary is Britain’s favourite sex position, with both men (27 per cent) and women (35 per cent) ranking it top.
This was closely followed by doggy-style in second place, voted for by 22 per cent of women and 21 per cent of men.
Also in the top few was cowgirl (14 per cent of women and 15 per cent of men) and spooning (8 per cent of women and 6 per cent of men).
And five per cent of men, in both missionary and doggy style, said that anal sex was their preferred choice.

Some people in the survey didn’t want penetrative sex at all, with eight per cent of women and six per cent of men saying they’d rather go without.
The research, conducted by healthcare company , also asked 2,000 people how many sexual partners they had racked up.
The most common amount was an average of three, with (27 per cent of women and 23 per cent of men) revealing they had between two and four notches on their bedpost.
The next most common number was between five and nine sexual partners, and three per cent of Brits surveyed were virgins.
Don’t worry if your number is slightly higher than this bracket, as 14 per cent admitted they had slept with 10 to 15 people.
Four per cent said they had lost track and two per cent claimed the number was over 91 or more.
Around five per cent of Londoners said they’d tallied up 91 partners or more, making it the most promiscuous location in Britain.
It appears that the nation may be experiencing a dry spell, with 56 per cent of people saying they weren’t in a sexual relationship at the time of the survey.
