TRY to contain your excitement diehard Disney fans because the film giant has revealed their upcoming movie schedule for the next THREE years.

From a live action Lilo & Stitch to a Frozen SEQUEL (*squeals*), it looks like we have plenty to look forward to... cinema tickets at the ready.

According to , The Nutcracker and The Four Realms is kicking off our list of festive films to look forward to.

With Keira Knightley starring as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Jack Whitehall as Harlequin, this star-studded film follows a young girl on her quest to protect her parent's beloved nutcracker. And there's a fair amount of magical gingerbread men and an army of mice thrown in for good measure, obvs.

What's more, diehard Twilight fans will recognise the film's leading lady Mackenzie Foy as Bella and Edward's daughter in the final fantasy films... just to double dose on magic.

Hitting cinemas on 2 November, we're seriously looking forward to seeing one of our old favourite children's stories translated onto the big screen.

Next up on the Disney schedule is Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet which is due to hit screens on 30 November.

Six years since the original animation was released, the wait is finally over for Wreck-It Ralph fans as their favourite "bad guy" hero ventures into the internet to save his game.

Starring John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman in the film's starring roles, fans have already been treated to a glimpse of the upcoming sequel which saw Vanellope hanging out with some animated Disney princesses.

We can't wait.

And now the film we seriously can't wait to watch this Christmas.

Yes Emily Blunt has taken on the title role in Mary Poppins Returns this 21 December.

Reliving the magic of the 1964 original, this 2018 remake will retell the story of Mary's adventures with the Banks children.

Although we're predicting there will be some modern twists along the way... and a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious sing-a-long obviously.

Coming up in 2019 is a live-action remake of Dumbo, i.e. the worlds most adorable animated elephant.

Starring Michael Keaton, Colin Farrell (yes please) and French actress Eva Green, this new adaption of the 1941 original will come to life under Tim Burton's direction.

Make a note in your diaries because this magical remake is due for release on 29 March 2019... and we're already counting down the days.

In even more exciting Disney news, Toy Story 4 will (hopefully) be hitting screens on 21 June 2019.

Although Andy may have gone off to college, this latest instalment will follow the romance between Little Bo Peep and Woody. Hurrah!

While the exact details of the plot have been kept largely under wraps, it's looking like the film may follow the lines of Toy Story 2 in how Buzz and Woody will embark on a rescue mission after Bo is given away... stay tuned Disney fans.

Brace yourselves Frozen fans because we're finally getting the sequel we've all been waiting for.

Yes, Frozen 2 is due to be released on 27 November 2019... if everything goes according to plan.

Unsurprisingly, the exact details of the plot have been kept well under wraps.

But producer Peter Del Vecho did tell Entertainment Weekly that the script is "exciting" and "builds on the first movie".

He added: "You understand things better in the first movie after you've seen the sequel."

Does that mean fans will finally find out if Frozen, Tangled, The Little Mermaid and Tarzan are actually all in the same universe? Only time will tell..

And finally, Disney has confirmed that fans are getting a Maleficent sequel.

While Malefincent 2 still doesn't have a UK release date, it's looking likely that the film will be hitting cinemas after 2020.

Although Disney has remained tight-lipped on the plot details, Elle Fanning has been sharing behind-the-scenes snips with her 2.5 million followers on Instagram and joked that "it's bring your mom to work day on the #Maleficent2 set!!!"
