AN Instagram influencer has been ridiculed online - for promoting her £19 fake eyelashes just minutes after giving birth.
In a caption accompanying a photo taken in hospital and cuddling her new daughter, Lilly Ghalichi announced she had worn her own-brand Lilly Lashes while in labour with new daughter Alara.
Lilly, 35, who appears in US reality show Shahs of Sunsets, explained the lashes were a new release called "MILF" - meaning a "mum I'd like to ****" lashes.
On her website, describing the lashes, she said: "Who says mom's can't be hot? No one will care how many kids you have when your lash game is this strong."
She said on her Insta post: "Alara Mir. Born 9/30/18. Our hearts are so full. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents.
"Wearing the 'MILF lash during delivery by from the 'Living Your Best Life Collection.'"
While some people congratulated Lilly and husband Dara Mir for their arrival, many ridiculed her for her blatant self promotion.
teased: "Excuse me Lilly but what lash glue did you use while giving birth?"
added: "OMG, LMAO wearing lashes during delivery this must be a joke!"
wrote: "Hahahahah, I can’t."
added: "Congratulations on your new baby girl, she's just as beautiful as mama. Slayin' the milf lashes.
"If i win the lashes I'm for sure going to wear them the day after childbirth just to take pics...LOL."
- MILF lashes, Lilly Lashes, £19.25 -
said: "LOL promo your lashes on your baby arrival post."
wrote: "Congratulations! Great choice on the lash and only YOU still wearing lashes while having a baby
teased: “Just gave birth ... ”
was more critical, writing: "Should be ashamed. STILL promoting your brand whilst announcing such an important precious thing. What a joke you are."
Lilly had previously hinted she would be adopting a full face of slap during labour, sharing a picture of a woman doing her makeup and writing: "Just saying, my glam squad is on standby."
