SASS QUEEN

Blake Lively had the BEST response to a troll who dared to criticise her stunning pink suit

The A-List actress has been wearing suits to promote her upcoming movie A Simple Favor and called out the troll for their 'double standards'

EVER since she first graced our screens as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl back in 2007, Blake Lively has become one of our ultimate celebrity style muses.

And as diehard Blake fans will already know, the A-List actress has been rocking some seriously stylish suits lately... but one self-described "fashion critic" was a little unimpressed with the star's latest power pink combo.

wrote: "It's suit number 1,356 for Blake Lively's promotion of 'A Simple Favor'."

She added: "This time a custom pink Ralph Lauren Collection."

So while it's not quite a troll telling Blake to "fire the stylist you're working with", it's still a comment that reeks of fashion fatigue.

But Blake, being the social media queen that she is, wrote back with an equally sassy response... and it's one of her best yet.

The A-List actress asked if the red carpet fashion account would 'note a man wearing lots of suits during a promo tour?'

Tagging the Instagram user in the comments, Blake wrote: "Would you note a man wearing lots of suits during a promo tour? So why can't a woman? Just sayinnnn. No double standards ladies."

*Just dwell here a moment please while we finish giving Blake a round of applause*

After all, even though Blake's flawless wardrobe of suits has been part of her ongoing film tour, she raises a completely solid point about how no one ever comments on a actor's choice of suit.

Clearly mortified that her stab at humour didn't sit well with the star, the user then apologised for the sassy comment and claimed that the random "number was just an attempt at humour."

She added: "I'm sorry it didn't translate. Looking forward to the Paris premiere."

Responding in the most gracious way possible, Blake then replied: "I don't expect everyone to like it. Fashion that creates a difference of opinions is the fun part."

She added: "I totally understand the missed humour. I do the same thing sometimes. Just looking to encourage women to do what men do without being teased for it. Yes, even in a space as material as fashion. It all starts somewhere...and everyone's voice counts.

Moral of the story? Blake Lively is our lord and fashion saviour.
