MEGHAN Markle brought along mum Doria Ragland to the launch of her new charity cookbook – and the pair looked VERY glam indeed.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, has clearly inherited the impeccable style of her yoga-instructor mum, 62, who made a surprise appearance at the book launch in aid of Grenfell Tower victims.

And Doria's elegant look perfectly complimented her daughter's sophisticated style, who stunned in blue and black.

Falling back on some of her all-time fashion favourites, Meghan opted for a £190 black pleated skirt designed by close friend Misha Nonoo - the woman who is rumoured to have introduced the Royal couple back in 2016.

Along with her silky skirt, Meghan opted for a classic black turtleneck from Tuxe Bodywear for £98 before completing her minimal outfit with a pair of Sarah Flint black heels.

But staying true to fashion form, Meghan then injected a bit of colour into her all-black ensemble with a stunning blue coat from Canadian brand Smythe.

With its bright blue hue and classic lapel cut, this oversized piece of tailoring added a signature Meghan touch to an otherwise understated ensemble.

Doria looked elegant and chic in a camel jumper and matching cropped, wide-legged trousers, with a Pashmina covering her shoulders for warmth.

The duchess’ mum proved her fashion credentials with the tailored look, as camel has been called the colour of the season, and has been seen on numerous catwalks at London and Paris Fashion Weeks.

It’s not the first time Doria has wowed with her sense of style, hitting all the right fashion notes at the royal wedding in May.

At the grand event, she wore a green day coat with white floral embroidery by Oscar de la Renta, along with a small matching Stephen Jones hat and Aquazzura heels.

Doria's neutral look is bang on trend for this season.

Biscuit shades are the colours to be seen in for autumn so Doria, 62, is hitting all the right style notes.

With simple knit, and tapered trousers it's easy to see where Meghan gets her simple, but effective, sense of style from.

There have been rumours Meghan's mum has been looking to move to the UK to be closer to her daughter in recent weeks, so could we see them stepping out together more often?

The fashion-forward pair were hosting a launch at Kensington Palace in honour of Meghan’s charity recipe book; Together: Our Community Cookbook.

The cookbook includes 50 recipes from women who run the Hubb Community Kitchen, an initiative based near the site of the Grenfell Tower in London.

As Harry and her mother watched on with pride, Meghan described first going to visit the kitchen in January and being overcome by the welcome from the group.

She discovered that they could only open two days a week due to limited funding, so proposed creating a cookbook to raise money.

All proceeds will go back to the Hubb and the book is now available to buy in stores.

Doria was heard introducing herself as "Meg's mom" to members of the group.

The £9.99 book, called Together: Our Community Cookbook, has already become a bestseller on Amazon, as numerous royal fans have rushed to pre-order a copy.

Some of the recipes are family favourites and all have been created by the cooks who support not only residents affected by the fire but others in the community.

"I immediately felt connected to this community kitchen; it is a place for women to laugh, grieve, cry and cook together," Meghan wrote in a foreword.

"Melding cultural identities under a shared roof, it creates a space to feel a sense of normalcy in its simplest form, the universal need to connect, nurture, and commune through food, through crisis or joy something we can all relate to."
