MEGHAN Markle is reunited with her stunning custom-made wedding dress in a new royal documentary – four months after she dazzled millions when she wore it to marry Prince Harry.

In ITV’S Queen of the World, due to air later this month, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, tenderly fingers the delicate silk tulle veil which features a flower from all 53 Commonwealth countries.

There’s also an extra bloom for her hometown – a California poppy - and wintersweet, which grows in the Nottingham Cottage garden where she lives with Prince Harry in the grounds of Kensington Palace.

Meghan’s face is a picture of radiance as she gazes at the Givenchy gown, created by British designer Clare Waight Keller, artistic director for The House of Givenchy.

As she strokes the veil, she comments: “53 countries, oh my goodness... it will keep us busy!”

During the documentary, Meghan talks about her memorable wedding day and the cathedral-length veil which trailed behind her.

Givenchy embroiderers had to wash their hands every 30 minutes to keep her pristine white dress and veil dirt-free prior to the big day.

It was a nod to the Queen, who also wore a long veil embroidered with flowers at her wedding in 1947.

Both the dress and the veil are due to go on display at Windsor Castle next month.

Since joining The Firm, Meghan has shown a passion for causes linked to the Commonwealth and the show will explore how the Queen is handing the baton to the younger generation of royals.

It's her first appearance in an official documentary as a member of the Royal Family.

The programme is very timely, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex prepare to start their first Commonwealth tour to Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific exactly 65 years after the Queen's first Commonwealth tour.

Prince Harry also lets slip in the documentary that he panics if he stumbles upon his nan - the Queen – in Buckingham Palace.

He says: “You guys have spent way more time in Buckingham Palace than I ever have - and you’ve only been here two weeks.

"Have you bumped into the Queen yet? If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don’t panic. I know you will. We all do!”

Queen of the World was filmed over more than a year by Oxford Films, which also created Our Queen, Our Queen at 90, and Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.
