SINCE marrying into the Royal Family earlier this year, Meghan Markle has been well and truly welcomed into Prince Harry's exclusive social circles.
But it now appears the former Suits actress has a connection to her husband's friend group in her own right... and it has the potential to become VERY awkward.

Cast your mind back to Harry and Meghan's fairytale wedding on May 19.
Along with the countless A-List guests who attended (including the Beckhams, James Corden and George and Amal Clooney to name a few), Prince Harry also made the friendly gesture of inviting his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
For those of you who aren't swotted up on all the Royals' romances, the childhood sweethearts dated on-and-off for seven years before eventually splitting in 2011.
Well now it turns out Meghan already knows Chelsy's new television producer boyfriend James Marshall... because he was once married to one of her close friends.

As chance would have it, James' ex-wife Elettra Wiedemann is a close friend of Meghan's who even wrote a feature about the "inherent chicness" of French women for the Duchess' former lifestyle blog, The Tig.
Safe to say, not any old friend was asked to write for Meghan's beloved former blog - an outlet she had to give up in 2017 before she became an official member of The Firm.
The writer, model and granddaughter of Casablanca star Ingrid Bergman, also runs her own food blog and split from Chelsy's boyfriend James after three years of marriage in 2015.
But during her Suits days, both Meghan and Elettra were often spotted on the New York social scene and were photographed together at the Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in 2015.

And if Chelsy's new relationship wasn't awkward enough for the new Duchess, chances are they're all going to run into each other at Princess Eugenie's wedding in October this year.
After all, Prince Harry's ex is a close friend of bride-to-be Eugenie.
Talk about the makings of an awkward encounter... here's hoping they're not all seated at the same table.
