It’s 15 years since The OC started… here’s what the cast are up to now
IT'S been 15 years since The OC first hit our TV screens.
And while we're struggling to accept that it's been that long (we feel old) a lot has happened since the show ended over a decade ago.

While it certainly seems time has flown by since the Californian teen drama started in 2003, the cast of The OC have been pretty busy.
From rehab, to Hollywood movies and marrying a Gossip Girl star, it's been an action packed 11 years since we bid farewell to the likes of Seth Cohen and Marissa Cooper.
And not all of it has been positive.
In honour of the 15th anniversary, we're giving you the lowdown on everything that's happened since the show came to an end.
Benjamin McKenzie

Ben - who played Ryan Atwood - was the ultimate teenage heartthrob and since the show ended, he's landed two pretty huge roles in the States.
Up until 2013, he played Officer Ben Sherman in crime drama Southland, and now he's a regular in Batman prequel Gotham, playing another lead cop - Jim Gordon.
He also married Gotham co-star Morena Baccarin last summer - and the pair have a two-year-old daughter, Frances.
Time has moved on, but Ben (now 39) is just as dreamy.
Adam Brody

Equally hot Adam Brody - who played Seth Cohen - might have married his dream girl Summer Roberts in the show's finale, but in real life, he coupled up with Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester (who played Blair Waldorf).
Post-Seth, 38-year-old Adam has landed plenty of American television roles and some pretty big leads in films too, such as Scream 4 and Jennifer's Body.
In 2015, Adam and Leighton welcomed their first child, daughter Arlo.
Rachel Bilson

She was only supposed to appear in a couple of episodes, but Rachel's character Summer soon became one of the show's main characters.
And Rachel, 36, landed some pretty decent jobs after the show finished, including a role in How I Met Your Mother, Nashville and movie, Jumper.
And while Rachel ended up with her Jumper co-star Hayden Christensen for 10 years (the pair also have a three-year-old daughter, Briar Rose) they split last summer.

Last year, Rachel almost made all our dreams come true after she revealed she would be open to the possibility of a reboot of The OC.
"I'm always open to things," she told .
"I don't know what it would look like with our characters being old now.
"We were riding skateboards on the pier; I don't know what they do now as 30-year-olds. But it would be nice to see everybody again.
"I haven't seen any of them in a very long time."
We're still holding onto this.
Peter Gallagher

Lawyer Sandy Cohen - Seth's father, hasn't stopped since The OC ended.
Peter Gallagher has had roles in How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Californication, The Good Wife an Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in which he played Deputy Chief William Dodds.
The 62-year-old also released an album when the show ended and has appeared on Broadway.
Mischa Barton

Mischa played troubled Marissa Cooper - Ryan's love interest who in a shocking and heartbreaking twist, was killed in a car accident at the end of season three.
And while Marissa had her struggles in the show - Mischa was also facing a battle in real life.
In 2007, Mischa was arrested for driving under the influence - but despite being sent to rehab not long afterwards, Mischa was admitted to a psychiatric ward in 2009.

Since leaving hospital, Mischa released her own fashion line (which has since closed) and appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2016.
Sadly, Mischa was hospitalised again at the start of last year after a neighbour called 911.
Only a couple of months later, the 32-year-old explained she had been a victim of revenge porn, and in an interview revealed: "I came forward to fight this not only for myself, but for all the women out there."
Cam Gigandet

35-year-old Cam played The OC's ultimate bad boy - Kevin Volchok - and quickly moved onto a role in Twilight after the show ended.
Not only did Cam play vampire, James, he also landed some smaller roles in The Magnificent Seven and Easy A.
In 2014, Cam revealed he no longer talks to the cast, and also gave some behind-the-scenes insight.
"Those kids were f****** miserable," he revealed.
"They would not remember their lines on purpose. They were young. That said, I don't talk to anyone I've ever worked with."
Kelly Rowan

Seth's mum Kirsten was played by Kelly Rowan, and the actress landed a role on crime series show, Perception.
52-year-old Kelly has also appeared in a couple of other US TV shows since, Castle and Murdoch Mysteries.
Olivia Wilde

Bad girl Alex Kelly (played by Olivia Wilde) dated Marissa Cooper and Seth Cohen during her stint on the show.
And since Olivia, 34, left The OC, she's gone on to become a huge Hollywood star and animal rights activist.
As well as playing Thirteen in House, she's also had roles in Rush, Christmas with the Coopers and TV show, Vinyl.
Olivia is engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis and the pair have two children together: Otis and Daisy.
