I CHANGE into my gym kit first thing.
My alarm sounds at 6.30am and I’ll either head straight for a workout or drop my 13-year-old twins Reuben and Lois at school then go. Breakfast will be coffee and a green juice. I have a NutriBullet blender so I’ll blitz kale, ginger, turmeric, wheatgrass, linseed and coconut water together.
My diary rules my life. I have a myriad of different work activities and no two days are ever the same. Sometimes I’ll be catching a plane for a championship abroad or a train out of London for filming.
Working for The Premier League Show means I also have meetings, corporate events and interviews to attend. I love being busy and variety is definitely the spice of life – it keeps me on my toes! But it does mean that I have to keep my diary on me at all times so I know what I’m doing next.
Lunch is often delayed.
I’ll be running around, then suddenly I’ll realise it’s 2pm and time to eat. In films, journalists in the ‘70s and ‘80s seem to go out for three-course sit-down meals every day, but that definitely doesn’t happen nowadays – I wish it did!
At home I’ll make a quick omelette or a salad, but if I’m working then I’ll go to the usual haunts, like Pret or Leon. I always get excited if we’re filming at Liverpool FC stadium because they have a great canteen – they even grow their own vegetables!
I’m used to being filmed.
I’ve been a TV presenter for 22 years and most of the time I can pretend the cameras aren’t there. But at big events I get nervous, especially if it’s in front of a live audience. I think it’s a good thing, though – you need that adrenalin sometimes.
My children have so many hobbies, I can barely keep up!
Now that they’re getting older they’ll be off to see their friends or they’ll have activities after school. Lois is good at telling me in advance, but Reuben will drop it on me that he has to be in Basingstoke or wherever for cross-country within the hour and there’ll be a mad dash to the car. When I was younger it was the same and my mum would be running around like a taxi come 3.30pm with four kids on board.
We have dinner together as a family.
About 99% of the time my husband [retired rugby player Kenny Logan, 46] and the twins will be home in the evening, and I’ll cook while the children do their homework.

By 9pm the kids are in bed, but with the longer days and lighter evenings I’ll stay up pottering about doing things around the house or watching the news or something mindless. Now that Reuben and Lois are older, Kenny and I are able to catch up with friends more often, too, but normally I’ll head to bed at 10.30pm.
