From painted faces to tomato sauce EVERYWHERE, these are Britain’s messiest toddlers
Hilarious snaps show kids causing mayhem around the home
EVERY parent will know that their home can turn from calm to chaotic within seconds.
But are your kids as mischievous as this lot?
When bed experts launched a competition to find Britain's messiest toddler, parents flocked to share the hilarious (but very cute) snaps of their cheeky youngsters.
The competition was created in the wake of a shocking new study, which revealed 71 per cent of parents have had to redecorate or replace valuables due to their mischievous offspring.
In the above image, Sam Boseley, 27, revealed: 'Our messy toddler has allergies to dairy and soya which result in her not enjoying food. This was our attempt at embracing baby led weaning to foster an enjoyment of food! She also loves to share! She'll happily feed everyone else her portion.'
From kids covered in lipstick to chocolate cake all over the kitchen, there's certainly some fierce competition with these contenders.
"My son is a water baby and has been having swimming lessons since he was seven weeks old. I swear he can sniff water out just like an elephant in the dry season," revealed mum, Hannah.
"On this occasion it had been raining for days, when it finally stopped raining we decided to get some fresh air and meet some friends for a walk. Lincoln was walking nicely behind me, but two seconds later he was gone!
"He'd run off and was sat splashing in the deepest, muddy puddle I have ever seen! He was caked in mud and soaked through from head to toe, but the enjoyment in his face wouldn't allow me to get angry with him."
Mum Katie couldn't believe her eyes when she saw her toddler covered in make-up.
"Bertie loves to be mischievous and has had all sorts out this week, including Sudocrem, chocolate and dog biscuits," she revealed.
"He can't help himself! I can't turn my back for a second as he is always up to something. He loves any kind of mess, in fact, I think for him the messier the better."
'We were having lunch outside and the next thing I know Penelope is purple and Renesmee is blue! The girls said that they were turning themselves into princesses!" Revealed 28-year-old Kate Leighton.
Alison found her son and his cousin covered in felt tip pen.
"They are forever getting themselves into trouble. During this particular incident they were playing upstairs in Annabelle's room. It was really quiet and we were enjoying the peace! Next thing they both came down stairs covered in felt tips," she explained.
"We looked upstairs and they had redecorated the bedroom walls with felt tips and sharpies!"
Ellise explained her son was caught with chocolate everywhere - including all over the kitchen!
Mum Laura was surprised to find son Ollie covered in cream.
"I went to check on him after putting his older brother to bed to see him sitting up in his bed covered in cream!" She revealed.
"He had managed to reach the pot of Sudocrem from the top of his drawers and was smothering it all over himself and his bed!
"All Ollie said when I asked what he was doing was: 'putting cream on'. I couldn't get it off him! He just turned into a slimy mess when I tried to wash it nor could I get it off his covers so they went in the bin!"
After finding her daughter covered in lipstick, Sarah said: "We investigated and found the girls, sink, bath, carpet and walls covered. It took a lot of cleaning!"
"Mmm, mummy's birthday chocolate, I'll eat that when she's not looking!' said mum Hayley.
Earlier this week, we showed you one mum's warning gainst covering your baby’s pram with a muslin cloth in the heatwave.
We also revealed how one mum stopped her toddlers destroying the bathroom just by using a hair tie.
And we gave you all the info on the six-month-old girl who has 40,000 followers on Instagram.
