LOVED by the likes of Margot Robbie, Chrissy Teigen and Victoria Beckham, terracotta is quickly becoming this summer's hottest shade.
And now, Pinterest has revealed that searches for the burnt orange hue have rocketed by 95% in the last six months, with fashion experts believing it's the ultimate shade for a "sophisticated" look.
Stylist to the stars Rochelle White has revealed the shade is often associated with high-end fashion, explaining the classic colour hasn't always been within reach of the High Street.
"Terracotta offers a classic and contemporary look and feel, which can be associated with high-end, luxury products," she told the .
"I feel that this colour has been mostly embraced by more luxury brands like Bottega Veneta. It was never really a colour readily available on the High Street."
Although usually associated with autumn, Rochelle has revealed the warm shade offers an alternative to the bright colours that often flood the high street during summer.
"Terracotta is a more toned-down colour compared to the bright colours that are usually associated with summer."
But while a whole host of celebs - including Cheryl, Kendall Jenner and Lily Collins - are all huge fans of the shade, it seems the once-exclusive colour for the rich and famous has become more accessible than ever, with heaps of terracotta pieces becoming readily available on the High Street.
