High street giant Primark has long been praised by beauty obsessives everywhere for the quality of its own-brand beauty range, 'PS...'.

And today in a statement Primark said: "The Leaping Bunny logo will now shine bright on all Primark own brand PS... products allowing customers to shop for their favourite beauty essentials in the knowledge all Primark own- brand cosmetics are free from animal testing.

"Primark has worked very closely with Cruelty Free International to rigorously audit the entire PS... product range over the last year."

The Leaping Bunny accreditation is the most trusted cruelty free certification for non-animal tested cosmetics.

It enables all consumers to easily identify and buy products that are not tested on animals.

Animals are put through extremely cruel conditions in the process of testing cosmetic ingredients, but Primark has now ensured that none of their products are involved.

Primark added: "Primark wants to let customers know that they can purchase their favourite PS... products with the guarantee that the entire range has been awarded the highest standard of cruelty free accreditation.

Michelle Thew, CEO of Cruelty Free International said: "We are delighted to award the Leaping Bunny certification to the PS... cosmetic range.
