Why Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan Davison is the ultimate WAG – hair in rollers, tanning disasters and designer bags
MEGAN Davison is the lucky lady married to the England goalie Jordan Pickford - the undisputed golden boy of the Euros.
The new power couple, who have been together since they were teenagers, have stolen hearts with their sweet PDAs - with some fans likening them to former golden couple Coleen and Wayne Rooney.
Former student Megan's marriage to the England star - who earns a whopping £100,000- a week - has secured a life of luxury for the 24-year-old, and she's taken on her new role as WAG with ease.
She now spends her time shopping in designer stores, travelling by private jet to matches and holidaying all over the world - when there isn't a pandemic on.
Her wardrobe, once made up of Topshop staples is now filled with designer clobber, including £1,000 Louboutins and £3,000 Chanel handbags, and her preened appearance is never less than perfect, with high definition brows, bouncy golden locks and a constant glowing tan.

Childhood sweethearts
Like Coleen and Wayne, Megan and Jordan have been together since they were teenagers when they met at St Robert of Newminster RC secondary school in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
After leaving school Megan enrolled on a three-year course at the University of Sunderland.
Pickford played for Preston North End during her first year, but the pair made their long-distance relationship work with glamorous trips to Dubai and romantic weekends back home in Sunderland.
When Megan graduated and Jordan was bought for £30million by Everton in summer 2017, the pair took their next step and moved in together in Cheshire.
Becoming parents
On February 21st, 2019, Jordan announced he and Megan had become parents to baby Arlo with a cute photo of a tiny babygrow, personalised and emblazoned with the words, "My daddy likes to… ‘Get the rave on!’"
The wedding day
Megan and Jordan got legally married in a registry office in Crewe, Cheshire, at the beginning of last year.
As well as their son, there were only five guests in attendance - and Jordan wore ripped jeans and a baseball cap.
They are now planning a Maldives bash to celebrate the union properly, as the coronavirus pandemic ruined their original plans.
In May last year Megan announced on Instagram: “We’re getting married in the morning.
“Well we should have been! It’s all gone a bit Pete Tong, so here’s a throwback of us on our legal registry office day since there are bigger things going on in the world right now.
“You are worth the wait my love @jpickford1”.
Inside their £2.1m mansion
With their super-couple status growing, the pair in Altrincham, where they are surrounded by glitzy bars, designer stores and luxury beauty salons.
The rumoured £2.1m mansion is in the classy "golden triangle" - an area in Cheshire known for its eye-wateringly expensive houses and popularity with footballers and WAGs.
The couple's home is adorned in black and white marble and covered in candid photos of the couple, their friends and family.
Their luxurious open plan kitchen features a designer breakfast bar and top-of-the range appliances, while plush carpets and mirrored cabinets feature in the bedroom upstairs.
Megan's pride and joy is a floor-length gilded gold mirror which sits beside a velvet chair in her bedroom.
Queen of the belfies
If there's one thing Megan loves, it's a good belfie - a posed snap which accentuates the bottom - and Megan's Instagram feed is full of full-glam shots in this style.
It's fair to say that Megan has the belfie down to fine art.
She's been pictured everywhere from the Bahamas to Dubai and, more often than not, you can bet that this famous pose will be on show wherever she goes.
Luxury jet-setters
Like Coleen, Megan loves a good holiday and the couple were pictured on eight in 2018, when they visited Portugal, Barbados, Milan and Ibiza twice, as well as Dubai and the Bahamas.
In Barbados, Megan was pictured necking champagne at the very exclusive Sandy Lane resort – a favourite of Coleen and Wayne Rooney and music mogul Simon Cowell.
Their romantic honeymoon-style break to the Bahamas in July 2017 set them back £2500 a night for an ocean view suite. Megan and Jordan stayed for the week, splashing out a whopping £17,500 on a room alone.
They also chartered a private jet for a weekend in London for the Anthony Joshua fight in April that year, costing a minimum of £10,000.
Megan frequently shares snapshots of her and Jordan’s amazing holidays - and even last year they managed to get to Dubai and Mykonos together.
In February 2020, just after tying the knot, they enjoyed relaxing days at the Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach resort and meals out at the likes of swanky restaurant STK and even had a trip to the desert, with Megan captioning that particular snap: "The most amazing day with my baby in Dubai’s sand dunes."
Then, in August last year, their Mykonos trip saw the couple dine at the very exclusive Scorpios restaurant.
The £10,000 handbag collection
As a teen, Megan wore Topshop and Pretty Little Thing clothes while on cinema dates at the Trafford Centre in Manchester with Jordan.
But these days, the pair have upped the ante on their shopping habits and have been spotted at the likes of swanky department store Selfridges in London and on shopping trips to New York.
She’s clocked up a £10,000 designer handbag collection - which includes a £2500 beige Chanel bag, a £3000 yellow quilted Chanel bag, a £1500 Louis Vuitton back pack and a £1000 red Gucci clutch.
As for her wardrobe, Megan’s long been a fan of WAG favourite Louboutins - everything from the £700 sleek summer espadrilles she’s been sporting to matches in Russia to the vertiginous white strappy stilettos she posted of herself wearing on Instagram back in 2014.
The WAG glamour
A pretty blonde with killer curves, Megan’s got the classic Coleen WAG look. She posts photos of herself getting dolled up, having her make-up done - often by make-up artist sister Brooke - and her hair in rollers.
And she’s not immune to the odd beauty disaster either - as shown in the following image of her either sporting an exceptional tan or having suffered an epic fake tan blunder.
Like her fellow WAGs, Megan is a fan of heavy contour, eyelash extensions and HD brows - and often posts close up photos of her perfectly painted face.
A spot on The Real Housewives of Cheshire?
After graduating in the summer of 2017 with what’s thought to be with a 2:1 in childhood studies, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Megan pop up in an Altrincham nursery anytime soon.
But she could be on TV pretty close to home.
Jordan’s revealed Megan is a big fan of The Real Housewives of Orange County – the reality show following the lives of some of California’s richest housewives.
And ironically, the graduate could now find herself being eyed up for the UK version.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire features several footballers’ wives living in the prestigious area of Alderley Edge – just a 25-minute drive away.
And if Coleen Rooney’s anything to go by, Jordan’s popularity could see Megan land several lucrative endorsements.
With a similar image and background to Coleen, who met husband Wayne at school when they were both 16, Megan could land deals with high street clothing and beauty brands.
Megan and Jordan could also earn tens of thousands of pounds at least for their future wedding pictures when they get to the Maldives.
Andrew Bloch of London PR firm Frank PR told Sun Online in 2018: “With Megan's growing popularity, and England's success in the World Cup, Megan is going to be hot property for brands right now.
“She's got the right image and could be set to overtake Coleen Rooney and earn millions if she plays her cards right.
“The fact that she seems 'real' will also help her, as beauty and fashion brands, as well as magazines will see her as the perfect fit.
"And if Jordan's form continues for the game against Croatia, her star power will rise even more.”
WAG gang
It’s certainly clear Megan already knows how to play the game.
Not only did she befriend Jamie Vardy’s media-savvy wife, Rebekah Vardy, at the World Cup in 2018, but she also showed up to the game against Sweden wearing a football shirt emblazoned with Jordan's surname.
She’s also pals with Erin Borini, the wife of Milan striker Fabio Borini.
And, loads of the WAGs got together for a picture, wearing the England shirt, at the beginning of the Euros.
Megan uploaded a snap of herself with Kieran Trippier's wife Charlotte, Maguire's girlfriend Fern, Kyle Walker's fiancee Annie Kilner, and Luke Shaw's girlfriend Anouska Santos.
She wrote: "Game day #ComeonEngland."
Fur baby
Before Megan and Jordan became parents to Arlo, they had ";fur baby", Rubie, their Cavapoo.
They pair got the pretty pooch in 2016 for £1000 each, but the spending doesn’t stop there.
The pampered pooch receives the princess treatment, attending regular wash and blow dry sessions - and she's even the proud owner of a bejewelled, pink head band.
Rubie also attends swimming lessons and puppy training and is nicknamed ‘boss lady’ by Megan.
The £500,000 ring
A year since moving to the glamorous neighbourhood and cementing her status as a fully-fledged WAG, Jordan popped the question to his childhood sweetheart with a £500,000 engagement ring, fit for WAG royalty.
Jewellery expert James Constantinou from Prestige Pawnbrokers and Channel 4's Posh Pawn told Sun Online: "A diamond like this is hard to come by. It looks an impressive 4-5cts and of very high quality, a piece that will turn heads wherever she goes and could have a retail price in excess of £500,000."
