A MUM who has spent more than £100,000 on cosmetic surgery has admitted she knows her "addiction" could kill her - but says she'll look good in her coffin.

Aimi Veness, 43, from St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, insists countless rounds of Botox, a £3,500 nose job and eye-lid surgery, lip fillers and £4,000 under-eye surgery are worth it, even though she no longer resembles her own son.

She lives in constant pain, having been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after using illegal hormone injections to make her skin look younger but reckons it's worth it to look good.

Aimi, who now thinks her condition may be the result of her PIP breast implants leaking, said: "All this suffering and medication that I’m on, it’s self-inflicted from surgery just to look nice.

"The only time I don’t suffer is when I’ve had surgery. Obviously it's the painkillers they're pumping me with; I feel like Wonder Woman!

"But I would rather have this pain and keep my breasts. I just think it’s worth the risk to look how I look and I’ll put up with this pain to keep my boobs. At least I’ll look good in my coffin!"

While working as a dancer, Aimi started having regular Botox jabs at the age of 25 to keep ageing at bay.

When she turned 26 she spent £6,000 on a boob job, taking her from a B-cup to a DD.

She met her husband Marc, 44, when she was 35, and reckons it was her youthful appearance that attracted him to her.

With her 40th birthday looming, Aimi started to feel more and more self-conscious about looking older.

When Marc told her about new controversial growth hormone injections after he heard about them at the gym, Aimi decided to give them a go.

"I looked them up online, and they’d been dubbed the ‘fountain of youth’ as they help rejuvenate skin cells," she recalled.

"Celebrities in America loved the jabs - I read that Demi Moore was supposedly a fan, and Madonna apparently swore by them.

"But as I did a bit more research, I saw the drugs had been said to cause diabetes, joint pain, and they’d even been linked to cancer.

"Plus in the UK they’re only sold on the black market, so you can never be sure what you’re buying.

"I was torn, but I rationalised the risks - everything gives you cancer these days, and I've used sunbeds all my life and it hasn't killed me.

"Within a couple of weeks of using them I was truly converted. My skin felt plumper and softer and I lost a stone in weight as the injections speed up your metabolism. I was spending up to £200 a month on my supplies."

A year after using them, Aimi's doctor told her she'd developed fibromyalgia, a condition that causes pain all over the body, and she stopped the injections.

What procedures Aimi is planning

  • Full set of veneers on her teeth.
  • New boob job.
  • A third Brazilian butt lift.
  • A face lift when she turns 50.

She decided to replace them with other procedures, and in December last year flew to the in Turkey for a £2,600 Brazilian butt lift - and landed herself a job working for them.

"I got on so well with the company that they asked me to be an ambassador," Aimi explained.

"I start Booty Camp in September, because everyone’s asking for the Kim Kardashian bum procedure at the moment.

"I meet girls who are booked in to have the surgery at Gatwick, I fly out with them, look after them and fly them back – I get paid and I get free surgery in return. My husband won’t recognise me soon!"

With the lure of free ops, Aimi returned six weeks ago to have a second bum lift as she wanted to go bigger - which involved her putting on two stone beforehand so they could suck out the excess fat and pump it into her bottom.

She said: "I haven’t sat down for six weeks, and I’ve got two more weeks left! On the flight home from Turkey I had to stand for four hours because you can’t sit down.

"I have to lie on my front to watch Love Island – I can’t drive or work at the moment. It’s very painful - the worst procedure I’ve had.

"Your whole body is bruised where they make incisions to suck out the fat, you feel like you’ve been hit by a car, and you can’t get comfortable.

"You get a little cushion called a BBL pillow, so I can sit down if I go out for dinner. It was our anniversary last week and my husband was so embarrassed when I took it to the restaurant.

"It’s a pain in the arse – literally – but it’s worth it because my bum looks so good. I’ll probably go for round three next year."

Aimi admitted her new bum means none of her clothes fit anymore, so she's had to buy a whole new wardrobe.

Next on her list is a full set of veneers on her teeth, planned for November, a new boob job, and a face-lift when she hits 50.

Though ironically, she won't even let son Harry, 21, have a tattoo.

She added: "I don’t look anything like my son anymore. It does bother me, he looks more like his dad now than me, we’ve got nothing the same.

"I don’t look like my passport photo anymore either – I get some funny looks at Turkish airports!"

She admitted the pressure on young girls to look good is a concern.

"It’s usually young girls that approach me on Instagram – the amount of young girls having surgery is crazy, which is quite worrying," Aimi said.

"It is really addictive. So many of the girls on Love Island have had stuff done – it is sending out a negative message, though I can’t really say anything!"

Aimi admitted she rarely thinks about the health implications of having so much surgery.

"You’ve only got one life, there are so many things out there that can kill you, life is so short," she said.

"If it makes me happy and feel better about myself, then why not?"
