Who is Miguel Head? Prince William’s private secretary who could be Prince Louis’ godfather
The former Royal Secretary has the highest odds of being named Prince Louis' godfather at 5/4
ALL eyes will be on little Prince Louis at the Royal baby's christening later today.
But as we try to contain our excitement at the prospect of seeing Will and Kate's youngest for the first time since April, here's everything you need to know about the baby's potential godfather Miguel Head.
Who is Miguel Head and what is his relationship to the Royal Family?
A long-term server of The Royal Household and one of Prince William's trusted confidantes, Miguel Head is looking like a likely choice for Prince Louis' godfather.
He first started working for The Royal Household as Prince William and Harry's Press Secretary in September 2008 and was later promoted to the role of The Duke of Cambridge's Private Secretary.
This is the most senior role within The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Household and Miguel was tasked with the overall management of its running.
Alongside this, Miguel also acted as one Prince William's most trusted advisers.
How long did he serve as Prince William's Private Secretary?
In March 2018, Miguel stepped down from his role as Prince William's Private Secretary to pursue a career outside of the Royal Household.
Miguel worked for the Royal Family for 10 years and acted as the Duke of Cambridge's most senior member of staff for the past five.
In a statement released at the time, Prince William said: "Hid Royal Highness feels incredibly lucky to have benefited from Miguel's advice and support over the last decade.
He has been an astounding Press Secretary and Private Secretary and has been central to the decisions that have guided the establishment of The Duke's office.
Considering Miguel first started working for The Duke of Cambridge back in 2008, Prince William said "he has also been a valued adviser during an important period in His Royal Highness's life. He wishes Miguel all the very best for the future."

Why is he in the running for Prince Louis' godfather?
From this glowing review of his former Press Secretary, it is unsurprising that Miguel has the highest odds of being named Prince Louis' godfather later today.
After all, Prince William and Kate Middleton are expected to follow their own tradition of choosing close family friends and Royal aides for the godparent honour.
And this isn't the first time they've granted a senior member of Royal staff for the important role.
In October 2013, they also chose their former Private Secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton to serve as Prince George's godfather.
Prince William and Harry's former nanny Tiggy Pettifer also has a 2/1 chance of being chosen as the Royal tot's godmother.
