These are the celebs we fantasise about most – and why the ‘Kardashian effect’ means men prefer brunettes to blondes
Blokes dream about women who are brunette, petite and hairless - while the ideal bloke is tall, dark and handsome
BLOKES fantasise about women who are short, brunette and totally hairless - while, when it comes to us ladies, the tall, dark and handsome stereotype does ring true.
Dr Justin Lehmiller from the Ball State University, Indiana, interviewed 4,175 people about their sexual fantasies for a new study - and spoke to about the celebs who featured most.
Channing Tatum (6ft1), Ryan Gosling (6ft) and Adam Levine (6ft) were found to be the most lusted-after stars for straight American women.
Apparently us ladies like hunks who are about 6ft fall, weigh 13st and aren't overly buff.
Black or brown hair were the most common in our fantasies, while the ideal lad should have done some manscaping - but not removed all his body hair.
Meanwhile, straight men are most likely to dream about Scarlett Johansson (5ft3), Jennifer Aniston (5ft5) and Jennifer Lawrence (5ft9).
They want shorter ladies, around 5ft 5ins, who weigh just 9st 4lb - considerably lower than the average UK weight of 11st, as of 2017.
And while we've all heard blokes prefer blondes, only a quarter of them fantasise about women with golden hair - with twice as many men dreaming about brunettes.
The top 3 for fantasises
- BLOKES
- Channing Tatum
- Ryan Gosling
- Adam Levine
- LADIES
- Scarlett Johansson

So why is this? Step forward Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.
"The Kardashian effect is undeniable," Dr Lehmiller said.
"The most popular descriptions of an ideal fantasy woman was of a petite brunette with an hour-glass figure: wide hips and bigger-than-average breasts."
