Mum reveals post-partum selfie trick that makes her body look A LOT more toned
A MUM has revealed her post-partum selfie trick that make her tum look a lot more toned.
Krystal Hipwell, who appeared on the Australian edition of Big Brother, gave birth to her second child, Nakoda Ruth Hipwell, last month - and her body already looks on top form.
But the mum-of-two has acknowledged the reality of how a pose can make your body look drastically different to how it actually does in real life.
She posted a side-by-side picture - the left being totally unposed and natural, and the right being a staged pose - to show the difference between the two.
She captioned: "These pics were taken 30 seconds apart, it's amazing what a difference posture can make!"
She has also revealed that over the course of her pregnancy, she gained 16 kilograms, and although she is a self-confessed health and exercise addict, she isn't rushing or pressuring herself to get her pre-baby body back.
Krystal said: "I put on close to 16kgs with this pregnancy and so far I am down 8kgs! I’m not too concerned about getting back to my pre-baby weight just yet but am just so keen to get my body moving (even if it is just slowly for now) and feel more like myself again.
"Since giving birth I haven’t really thought about my diet and have simply been eating whatever I want , whenever I want, mainly because I have been too tired to care."
She also added that she hasn't been oto strict with her diet since giving birth, as breastfeeding has given her a sweet tooth.
"I also find when I’m breastfeeding I have a massive sweet tooth ! I don’t actually believe in dieting but I am now looking forward to resuming my old healthy lifestyle, nourishing and fuelling my body with good foods that will help this tired mumma out with some energy!"
Krystal also urged other new mums to gain medical advice before considering vigorous training.
