VICTORIA BECKHAM is under fire for her choice of slim models in her fashion campaigns with people taking to social media to lash out at the fashionista.
The singer-turned-designer, famed for her own svelte frame, has been criticised in the past for using thin models in her campaigns.
Uploading snaps of her collections on her social media page, her photos receive hundreds of comments - some negative.
The mum-of-four has repeatedly been been asked why she repeatedly opts for slimmer girls, with some people criticising her for using women with unrealistic bodies.
Earlier this week an of a model wearing a “fluid trench coat” received a barrage of abuse – despite only attracting a paltry 134 comments.
Among them people said: “This model has very long neck and way too hollow cheeks.”
Another wrote: “Food ...... she needs food.”
One person commented: “My uncle has a scarecrow in his farm that looks exactly like this.
“Victoria – would you like to see your daughter, Harper like this??”
This person replied: “Can feed ur models up plz! [sic]
“They look scary. The clothes are nice btw!”
And another reply said: “Give the girl some carbs please.”
In another uploaded last week, showing a model in a turtle-neck mustard jumper, people also questioned the model’s size.
One person asked: “I would love to see some models with more curves.
“These models must be a size 6!”
Another person said: “These outfits are not for women who eat…”
This comment added: “Collections look dope but man do those models look like they need a good meal or two.”
A long-standing issue, in April a series of photos promoting her VB Eyewear Collection using model Giedre Dukauskaite, 29, was not received well.
Some 509 people commented on one , with many saying how Giedre looked underfed and sickly.
One person said: “She wants pinned down and fed a good Sunday dinner.”
Another said: "This woman looks ill.”
And a third posted: “Someone needs to take that model to @nandosuk.”
The smattering of comments is in stark contrast to the 2,699 comments a family snap uploaded two days before received, with people seemingly less interested in her fashion posts compared to personal ones.
A clear example of her fans' disinterest, just one day ago the 44-year-old unveiled her Spring / Summer 2019 collection.
She said it: "Encapsulates the style and spirit of the pop culture of the 1980’s, with a nod to Winona Ryder’s off duty style in Heathers, and party dressing that pays homage to the eighties prom dresses of Sixteen Candles.”
With a montage of multiple fashion pieces, the animated has only attracted 159 comments from her 20.9 million followers.
Again the comments were abnormally low, with a post she uploaded afterwards already attracting 563 responses.
And there were negative reactions to the new line as well, with someone commenting: “Hi Victoria Do you ever design clothes with curvy girls in mind and those of us who are under 6ft tall.”
