FLYING HIGH

There’s now a face mask dedicated to tackling jet lag… and Kim Kardashian LOVES it

We thought we'd seen it all when it came to skincare... but now Summer Fridays have released their 'jet lag' mask, and celebrities are going crazy for it

LONG-HAUL flights can leave our skin feeling dry and looking lacklustre. Fact.

The mix of air pressure, dodgy air conditioning and dry cabin air can all cause  MAJOR skin dehydration, which, in turn can lead to flakiness and breakouts.

But now Summer Fridays has come to the rescue, by introducing a face mask that's specifically targeted at battling dull, post-flight skin.

How? It's packed with ingredients such as vitamin C (to brighten), Niacinamide (reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines), chestnut extract (gently exfoliates) and green tea (to reduce puffiness), which all dissolve into the skin to replenish lost moisture and nutrients.

The brand is the brainchild of LA-based bloggers  and , so not only does it already have a huge social media following (50k followers on Instagram), it's also been hailed a hero product by the Lea Michele, Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian West.

In a video posted on the brand's Instagram, including co-founder Marianna, Kim can be seen saying "I used the Jet Lag Mask before coming here!"

But how should the product be used? The process is simple.

The thick, balmy texture is slathered on like a cream, left to quench thirsty skin for 10 minutes, and then a tissue is used to blot away any excess product.

The brand claims that skin will feel instantly replenished, moisturised and plump while also looking brighter and calmer.

Summer Fridays also use all vegan ingredients that are sulfate, cruelty and paraben-free, so you can be sure that the formula doesn't contain any complexion-damaging nasties.

The only downside? You'll have to join a waiting list for the product, as it's proving to be extremely popular amongst beauty fanatics - having sold out shortly after launching on Cult Beauty's website.
