It’s well known that every time Kate Middleton steps out in a new outfit, it becomes an instant hit with everyone wanting to know where it’s from.
So, it’s no surprise that when she wears an affordable dress that’s available on the high street, it sells out within minutes.
This is exactly what happened when Kate wore a striped £39.99 dress to the polo at the weekend, causing it to fly off the virtual shelves.
Luckily, we’ve found a copy on the high street at Warehouse and if you wear it with espadrille wedges just like Kate, it’ll look like the real deal.

Kate also even wore Zara on the way to Pippa's wedding in a floral shirt dress. We've figured out Kate loves an under £40 Zara buy as this one is also £39.99.

She's also a fan of other shops on the high street and wowed in a long sleeve midi from Topshop and a maxi dress from online fave Glamorous.
Of course everyone spotted them both and wanted them in their wardrobes, and yep, you guessed it...they sold out super fast.
The babes as Boohoo have created this printed smock dress that we would say is the perfect cross between Kate's favourite styles and best part? It's available right now.

Kate also has been known to be a fan of online shopping and has been spotted (quite literally) in a polka dot dress from ASOS.
They reported that within 30 minutes of Kate stepping out of the car and getting pictured in the dress, it had sold out in all sizes.
If that's not proof of the 'Kate effect' then we don't know what is.

Forget the LBD, Kate is a fan of the LRD (that's little red dress, FYI) and we are too when it looks this chic.
Hers may have been £225 from LK Bennett but that didn't stop it selling out in record time.
We're all for a purse-friendly option though, and this is where Mango's more affordable £39.99 frock comes in - cheers, Mango.
