RIDICULOUS fashion alert: penis-pocket trousers are now officially a thing.

Taking the trophy for the most bonkers trouser trend around, these otherwise normal pair of chinos have a contrast pocket over the crotch area... and we just can't figure out why.

  • Contrast Pocket Trousers, £7 from GU -

Thought up by the experimental designers at Japanese company GU (not the dessert company behind those delightful lemon cheesecake pots), these trousers purposefully draw attention to the wearer's penis for a daring fashion choice.

Weirder still, the contrast patch does actually function as a pocket.

Although we can't image what any guy would actually put in there.

Because the only thing worse than a statement penis pocket is a statement penis pocket made bumpy by the outline of your house keys. Sexy.

Available in white, tan, and navy, the patches also vary in colour to make the boldest contrast possible.

Belonging to the same company at Uniqlo, this is one audacious item of clothing that is guaranteed to turn heads... but probably not for the right reasons.

While high-end designers usually pave the way for weird and wacky fashion choices, these penis-pocket trousers are actually a total bargain and retail at roughly £7.

Talk about being penis proud.
