In the heart of London, Kensington Palace is nearly as famous as its grander cousin, Buckingham Palace.

While it may not have all the trappings and tradition of the Queen’s HQ, it’s older than the official monarch’s residence and houses at least two heirs.

Currently, Kensington Palace is home to Prince William and Kate Middleton, and their three children Prince Geroge, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan Markle also live there, and it is also the residence of The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Where do Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank live?

Princess Eugenie is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, and is engaged to wine merchant Jack Brooksbank.

The couple are due to tie the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle – the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed – on October 12.

But the couple already live together in Ivy Cottage, one of the apartments within Kensington Palace.

It is thought the betrothed moved into the three-bedroom home in April.

Prior to moving in with her fiancé – previously taboo for royals – Princess Eugenie lived in an apartment in St James’ Palace with her sister, Princess Beatrice.

Where do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live?

Prince Harry has lived in Nottingham Cottage since 2013, taking up residence when his brother and Kate Middleton moved out.

It is the smallest on the royal estate, viewed as a modest starter home for newly-weds.

It is said to feature two bedrooms, two reception rooms, kitchen and bathroom with a small garden.

Despite its small size, one of the reception rooms was designed by Sir Christopher Wren.

His new wife Meghan is rumoured to have virtually moved in during the couple’s whirlwind romance.

It is there Prince Harry proposed to the former actress, while the pair were roasting a chicken.

And now they have tied the knot, the residence will be their first home with the new Duchess of Sussex moving in permanently to start their married life there.

Is Ivy Cottage near Meghan and Harry's new home?

The two cottages are just a stone’s throw from each other, so the two couples are virtually neighbours.

reported the two royal brides have bonded over "a shared love of art, dogs and late-night macaroni suppers."

Also in the vicinity is the Duke and Duchess of Kent, Prince Edward, 82, cousin of the Queen, and his wife Katharine, 85.

The remainder of the royals live on the other side of the palace.
