Kensington Palace has made a very important change to Meghan Markle’s page

The website now acknowledges The Duchess's acting career

MEGHAN Markle's official page on Kensington Palace's website has been given an important update.

The new Duchess's biography was uploaded onto the site the day after her marriage to Prince Harry, but fans were disappointed that her career and education had not been heavily acknowledged.

However, the Palace has now added some changes to the page that address her Suits career - an American TV show on which Meghan played the role of Rachel Zane.

It reads: "She most notably played the role of Rachel Zane on the series Suits for seven seasons, completing over 100 episodes.

"Whilst working on Suits, The Duchess moved to Toronto, Canada, where the show was filmed. She feels very connected to Canada, as it became a second home to her."

The website also mentions her blog, The Tig. It says: "Alongside her successful career as an actress, Her Royal Highness also wrote and edited a lifestyle website called The Tig which she used as a platform to discuss social issues such as gender equality in addition to articles on travel, food and fashion."

Meghan's blog was taken down shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry, with an emotional farewell message to fans that read:

"To all my Tig friends. After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it's time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity.

"You've made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being "the change you wish to see in the world."

To conclude, Meghan wrote, "Above all, don't ever forget your worth - as I've told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything."
