The £52 candle which Meghan Markle loves – and all her other favourite smells

On her now-closed Instagram page, the new Duchess of Sussex regularly posted snaps of candles and diffusers doted around her home

SHE has moved into Kensington Palace with Prince Harry, but we suspect there are some things – or rather smells – from her old life which Meghan Markle has carried over.

On her now-closed Instagram page, the new Duchess of Sussex regularly pictured pricey candles and room diffusers.

In one photograph she pictured a burnt-down Le Labo Santal 26 candle.

These £52 scented candles are described as having “leathery and musky notes” and are available to buy in the UK from Selfridges.

But at £52 they aren’t cheap – probably because they are hand-poured in Mississippi, USA.

She also photographed a candle from posh brand Diptyque, which is also available to buy in Selfridges for £47.

She also had, fittingly considering the title, a Tom Dixon ‘Royalty’ diffuser in the bedroom of her Toronto home, according to Instagram photographs.

Costing £65, this product – her in-laws will be pleased to know – has a “British style”.

“Reminiscent of tea time with a pot of Earl Grey, scones with strawberry jam and the drive home in a ’52 Bentley with tatty leather seats, Royalty is an evocative scent for modern display,” it is claimed.
