Model Behaviour
Do you think you could be the next ‘face’ of a huge high-street brand but you’re no longer in your 20s?
Or maybe you’ve always wanted to walk the runway, but are now old enough to be the mother of the models strutting their stuff?
Well now is your chance!
JD Williams has just launched its ‘Midster’ model competition.
As a woman on the ‘other’ side of 45 and someone who has worked in fashion for 25 years, I know too well that the industry is youth obsessed.
Well enough is enough! I still want to look cool and wear great clothes and I also want to see other women of my age who look after themselves and have a unique sense of style, modelling the brands that I love.
The search is open for women who are sizes 10-32 and aged 45+ -so if you think you’ve got what it takes, here’s what you need to do!
Upload images of yourself to instagram with the hashtag #JDWMidsterModel or email the press office [email protected]o.uk
The prizes include £1,000 and the chance to star in the brand’s S/S ‘19 advertising campaign.
You will also be introduced to modelling agency Models 1, who are on the judging panel and always looking for new talent for their Classics board. See full details of the competition .
Good luck!

With my summer holiday countdown now on, I’ve fallen in love this bikini top and big pants from And Other Stories.

I gave up heels a few years ago except for very special occasions, and these cute flats will work for both the city and the beach.
So price per wear they are a total winner!

If I am going to get into that cute swimsuit I need to step up the yoga!
This gorgeous bag is not only perfect for hitting Frame Yoga but is also a great get-away bag for the airport.
