Meghan Markle does her make-up in the back of an Uber… but gets a hand from Bobbi Brown
AS her wedding day draws ever closer, bride-to-be Meghan Markle is likely to have a whole host of make-up artists at her beck and call – and a room at Buckingham Palace in which to get glam.
But that wasn’t always the case, as a previously unseen video of her trying out make-up in the back of a taxi demonstrates.
In this video, from September 2016 – shortly before she met Prince Harry – Meghan, accompanied by makeup mogul Bobbi Brown, happily applies her own slap.
First, she tried out a retouching wand.
“It’s actually like a Cinderella wand for your skin,” Bobbi said – perhaps a prediction of what was to come.
She then tried out a face pencil, for correcting problem areas.
Meghan applied some to her forehead and the inner corners of her eyes.
Finally, she tried out a highlighter in a shimmery shade.
She described it as giving her “such a pretty glow.”
“It blends so easily,” she added, before attempting to dance as Notorious B.I.G.’s song Big Poppa plays in the car.
Previously Meghan, who will tie the knot in Windsor on May 19, has described her beauty routine as “very simple”.
“I call it the five-minute face,” she said in an interview with . It’s just , curled lashes, mascara, Chap Stick, and a little bit of blush.”
Also in the video, Bobbi asks Meghan, 36, what she has planned for the day ahead.
Crossing her fingers for luck, Meghan, then on hiatus from filming Suits, said she had a meeting with producers about a potential film role.
“This is your time, whatever you do today is going to work,” said Bobbi.
The video was filmed as part of a collaboration between Uber and Bobbi Brown.
