Good news Kate… This is why three is the magic number when it comes to kids, according to mums
THREE really is the magic number when it comes to your kids, according to mums, and it's good news for Kate Middleton and Prince Charles.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, welcomed a baby boy earlier today - her third child with the 35-year-old Duke.
The tot, who's name has yet to be revealed, is the younger sibling of Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.
Three kids may seem like a handful, but mums reckon it's the "perfect" number - according to parenting site Mumsnet.
Some 60 per cent of parents with three or more kids said the transition from two to three was easier than adapting to life with two kids instead of one.
The appearance of the third child also had less impact on their parents' careers and finances.
Although it's bad news for Charlotte, as 54 per cent of parents admitted they worried about 'middle child syndrome'.
Some 72 per cent of parents had to buy a new car when they met baby number three, while 41 per cent had to move house - although we're sure this isn't something Kate and Will need to worry about.
But this shouldn't discourage the Duke and Duchess from going for baby number four - as 44 per cent said going from three tots to four was the easiest transition.
