Flower boobs is the latest festival trend on Instagram… but would YOU try it?

People are sticking pressed flowers to their nipples for festivals and sharing their pictures on social media

EVERYONE loves a cheeky festival trend and this year it’s all about flower boobs.

The fad sees nearly-naked revellers adorn their breasts with pretty petals, so could this be the new glitter boobs?

The racy trend started when a Glastonbury-based flower seller saw one of her customers had decided to stick the petals on her boobs instead of her face.

Hanna Webb, who runs Etsy shop , uploaded the shot to her company Instagram page and her fans went wild for it.

Speaking to the Sun Online, Hanna said: “It was actually one of our fabulous customers who started the trend for us.

"The look went crazy on our social media pages, () and we’ve seen the trend repeated across the world since."

The entrepreneur said that she thinks the petal fad will take off in a big way this year, particularly as they are better for the environment than glitter.

Hanna revealed she started her creative flower business after university.

The flower guru explained: “I developed a bit of an obsession with pressing flowers whilst at university, and fell in love with the process."

After seeing what they would look like on her face, she decided to launch Face Florals for festivalgoers.

She said: "The initial jump is always the scariest, but I’ve never looked back since and I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve managed to achieve since taking that jump."

Now she has expanded her range, and regularly works with bloggers and festival brands.

Hanna said: "The festival world is an amazing, creative and vibrant one, and everyone is looking to do something to stand out from the crowd.

"Having flowers on your boobs is certainly a talking point and we would love to see flowers boobs become a staple part of festival fashion."

Last year it was all about the glitter boob trend, which saw women covering their breasts in sparkly paint, multi-coloured gems and nipple tassles.

Yves Saint Laurent even featured the look in their SS17 show, while it was also all the rage at California's Coachella festival in 2017.

And it isn't just festival-goers festively decorating their chests - the Big Brother girls last year also smeared themselves in glitter before shaking their boobs in the diary room.

Even posh Oxford University students have been getting in on the action.
