UNICORN undies are the latest bizarre fashion design to hit the market, and they come with a six-inch horn.
Seamstress Nichola Thompson, from Middlesbrough, was the brains behind the impractical knickers - and she's seen business boom in recent months.
The 43-year-old sells the hand-made undies - which have a soft, glittery horn sticking out of the back - for £33 a pop.
She's even made a unicorn crop top, with a front facing horn, for £55.
Her company, Knickerocker, also produce fox-eared smalls and panda panties - and it's been so successful that Nichola was able to buy her own house.
Nichola said: "I wanted to break the mould and reinvent women's underwear - I wanted to make things completely new.
"When I started it was a time where you either had boring beige knickers or really expensive or old-fashioned pieces."
Nichola creates each of her pieces from home studio, and her line ranges from retro pieces to animal themed lingerie with horns and ears.
She says they're popular with pole dancers, as well as people buying the undies as a cheeky gift for their partner.
Nichola said: "The name came from knickerbocker glory desert - I liked the name, so it was a play on that."
Nichola, whose grandma taught her to sew, worked up to 18-hour days perfecting her craft before starting her own business.
She opened in 2008, and saw things take off over the next four years - partly thanks to clever Instagram marketing.
She's since sold more than 9,800 handmade pieces.
Nichola said: "It got big in the USA, it actually blew up, back then I could get so much of the fabric for nothing and produce so much.
"We are flat out busy from September to February, with customers getting bits in for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day."
She added: "I turned it into a home studio and create all my products here by hand - this summer I'm looking to make swimwear.
"I used to work in an office - I am certainly not made to work in one, I've always wanted to find something new, something that isn't already out there."
