BEFORE meeting Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was married to first husband Trevor Engelson for two years.
But, according to a new biography of Meghan Markle by Andrew Morton - the author who wrote Diana: Her True Story in 1997 - all she took from her first marriage was a blender.
Loose Women presenters revealed this interesting nugget earlier today, when discussing Andrew’s new book, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.
The book is believed to be based on Andrew’s conversations with people close to Meghan.
He wrote: “She packed the blender into the backseat of her car even though it would have been just as easy to buy a new one.
“It sat on the kitchen counter of her Toronto house, a material reminder that her home was no longer in Los Angeles."
Meghan Markle married Trevor in 2011, but the couple divorced in 2013.
They cited "irreconcilable differences" as .
She is reported to have left so quickly she sent her rings back to a bewildered Trevor in the post.
According to Andrew’s book, Meghan’s role in popular US series Suits was the beginning of the end.
“Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, 'feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe’," he wrote.
Stacey Solomon, who presents on Loose Women, said that while Meghan’s cut-and-run behaviour was something she could relate to, she herself would have taken more.
“I wouldn’t leave the relationship without my prized possessions,” she said.
