MOST of us would shudder at the idea of getting our pins out in this icy weather.

But that hasn't stopped us Brits buying 15,000 bottles of this fake tan since it launched just three and a half weeks ago.

The Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Foam is now officially the most popular fake tan in the WORLD.

It costs £18.99 and overtook the Dark Foam formula, from the same company, to snag the top spot.

Scores of social media stars including Khloe Kardashian's body inspiration Tammy Hembrow, Brit influencer Sarah Ashcroft and are fans of the product.

The new tanning foam promises to deliver a dark tan in just one hour, or 30 minutes if you're going for a lighter look.

At this point, you can either wash it off or allow it to develop for another three hours - if you're brave enough.

But this is not one to be left on overnight... you've been warned!

Over in its native Australia, some 30,000 bottles of the product flew off the shelves in their Superdrug equivalent Priceline last week alone.

Melbourne-based founders Blair James and Shaun Wilson lauched Bondi Sands five years ago, after failing to keep up with demand in their salon.

They wanted to give shoppers an affordable tan that didn't look or smell orange - and it was an instant success.

It's infused with an "exotic coconut scent" and is described as "ultra-lightweight and moisturising".

If you're looking to get the glow, spray tan brand Sienna X has launched three new products for people to use at home.

While Holly Willoughby swears by Charlotte Tilbury’s £45 Supermodel Body Highlighter to get her through the long cold winter.
