With the day of love fast approaching, why not splash out on a bottle of the premium distilled drink that is available from most supermarkets.

The pink recipe is described as having the natural sweetness of raspberries and strawberries, with the tang of redcurrant.

And if you really want to go all out, why not serve in a large wine glass with ice and fresh strawberries.

The blush-coloured beverage has been created to be a “sweeter way to enjoy gin”, so if you are on the fence about the spirit, this could be a delicious way in.

The website says the bottle’s flavouring is “inspired by an original Gordon’s recipe from the 1880s”.
