The eldest Kardashian sister, 38, has cited apple cider vinegar as being the secret to her fit physique, in her latest app post
KOURTNEY Kardashian has spilled her diet secrets – and admits she drinks vinegar as part of her regime.
The eldest Kardashian sister, 38, has cited apple cider vinegar as being the secret to her fit physique, in her latest app post.
The reality star admitted that she sips on the condiment twice a day.
She confessed: “Every morning, when I wake up, I take collagen supplements on an empty stomach.
“About 20 minutes after the collagen, I usually drink one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar mixed into a glass of water.
“Both of these habits have a ton of health benefits that affect everything from your skin to the way your body processes nutrients.”
The mum-of-three says that she also takes a vegan probiotic shot and munches on avocado “pudding” - contains E3Live blue-green algae, bone broth protein powder and MCT oil.
She then sips another spoonful of apple cider vinegar before she eats her dinner.
When it comes to workouts, Kourtney says that she undertakes an array of gruelling exercise routines that she does five or six times a week.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also outlined a typical day's meals on her app.
The menu includes whole grain oatmeal with bee pollen or seeds, salad with salmon and a homemade dressing and a simple soup, with asparagus and sweet potato.
She added: “I usually try to make soups and chili on a Sunday, so I have the extras in the fridge when I'm busy during the week.”
But, Kourtney was also quick to add that she still enjoys treats, adding: “You have to live your life!”
Can apple cider vinegar help with losing weight?
have found that apple cider vinegar may help with fat loss.
This comes down to both the vinegar’s low calorie content and because it contains something called acetic acid.
One tablespoon of apple cider vinegar contains about three calories and around five to six percent of it consists of acetic acid.
Previous studies have found that acetic acid may promote fat loss in several ways.
It may be able to reduce fat storage, increase fat burning, improve blood sugar and insulin response.
It can also reduce appetite and help to promote “fullness” – which may naturally lead to a lower calorie intake.
The vinegar is also said to provide other health benefits – such as improved blood sugar levels in those with type 2 diabetes.
It also contains chemicals known as polyphenols (antioxidants).
But, it should be noted, that consuming too much apple cider vinegar could be detrimental to your dental health.
Because of its acidity, it can damage your teeth, hurt your throat and may cause stomach upset.
