THERE are plenty of stars who have been accused of altering their snaps to make themselves look slimmer/curvier/bustier.
But who do you think is actually using Photoshop and how does it work anyway? We reveal all...
How does Photoshop work?
Photoshop is a computer programme designed to edit images.
You can use it to alter pictures, this can include changing the colours, modifying the size and scale, or putting one picture "within" another.
Other handy tools include getting rid of pesky red eye and even slimming down arms, legs and tums with some clever editing.
There has been much backlash in the media over stars using this function to adjust their looks, with people claiming it sets back body positivity and celebs should show themselves as they really are.
Which celebrities are suspected of using Photoshop?
Rihanna at carnival
Rihanna was accused of a photoshop fail in a saucy snap from her carnival outing - after fans pointed out she has an "extra thumb" in the pic.
The superstar posed wearing a barely-there showgirl get-up for the Instagram snap, but if you look closely she has an alien-like left hand, with two blue thumbnails, apparently due to an editing glitch.
Kylie Jenner and the mirror selfie
Kylie Jenner was accused of using Photoshop to edit an Instagram post as she showed off her famous curves in a sexy selfie.
But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star came under fire as some fans claimed to see an unnatural curve in the wall which would suggest the photo had been tampered with.
One fan pointed out: "@kyliejenner your wall is curved from the edits girl."
Megan McKenna's black line bum
Megan McKenna was accused of touching up an Instagram snap after fans were confused about a defined black line around her bum.
In the Instagram post, the Towie star can be seen standing sideways on in a revealing orange dress with Amber Turner and another friend.
However, it was unclear if the darker line was edited on, or was just shadow.
Mariah's giveaway kitchen cupboard
Mariah Carey suffered a Photoshop fail after she was accused of tinkering with one of her selfies on Instagram.
The mother-of-two appeared to have edited the picture of without realising she’s made some rookie errors.
In the picture, which Mariah posted during her Thanksgiving celebrations, there appear to be kinks in both the mirror and the cupboard behind her leg.
A chunk of the singer’s upper arm appears to be missing in the picture also, with fans calling her out for the editing.
Khloe Kardashian's dodgy knee
Khloe Kardashian was accused of photoshopping an Instagram picture to emphasis her bum even more.
Some of Khloe's fans claimed she'd photo shopped the snap of her in jeans, boots and a leather jacket.
One commented: “photoshop fail... look at her knee.”
Another wrote next to the snap: “It looks ridiculous + photo shop.”
Jennifer Lopez and the mirror smudge
Jennifer Lopez hit back to claims she had photoshopped her incredible abs in a recent Instagram post because of a smudge on the bathroom mirror.
Some trolls were quick to accuse the Shades Of Blue star of using editing tools to achiever her flawless finish.
Not one to be beaten, she hit back in the comment section and wrote: "Omg...Just a smudge on the mirror... lol... not photoshop."
How can I spruce up my pictures?
Using Photoshop can be daunting, there's a lot going on with the programme and it can be daunting.
You can get a basic guide to photo editing .
Once you've familiarised yourself with how it works, you can edit the colour, brightness and contrast of your pictures in the same way you can with Instagram.

If you want to go a step further and change your body shape, you need to click on "Filter" in the menu and then "Liquify".
Your snap will then appear in another window and you can use the mouse to drag the picture around and pull in or push out specific parts of the image.
Be careful not to contort the background though - otherwise you'll end up under suspicion like the celebs!
