Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are actually related… here’s how

PRINCESS Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank are actually distant relatives, just like the Queen and Prince Philip.

The loved up couple are due to marry in at Windsor Castle on Friday, but the pair are already family - because they're distant cousins.

That's right, Jack and Eugenie share an ancestor in the 19th century aristocrat Thomas William Coke, who was the 2nd Earl of Leicester.

This connection makes the couple third cousins once removed.

The Earl is Eugenie's great-great-great-great grandfather, on her mum Fergie's side.

While he's also Jack's great-great grandfather, from his second marriage to Georgina Caroline Cavendish.

Because it was Coke's second marriage, and therefore later in life, there are fewer generations on Jack's side.

As you probably already know, Eugenie is also ninth in line to the throne - on her dad Prince Andrew's side.
