Family shares laugh-out-loud results of £180 ‘professional’ photoshoot after photographer admits she wasn’t taught how to retouch images

The family say they aren't asking for a refund due to the pleasure they have had in seeing the bizarre images

A FAMILY got the surprise of their lives when a “professional” photoshoot they had went horribly wrong.

Dave and Pam Zaring from Missouri, who married three years ago, decided last year it was time to get some group shots of their blended family.

In May, the family say they were contacted by a middle-aged woman who claimed to be an experienced photographer.

Excited for their shots, the couple, along with their sons Cade, 12, and Connor, eight, and Dave’s mum Sharon, headed to the St Louis to meet the lady.

The family paid around £180 ($250) for their shoot and were told to expect the photographs within a few months after she had edited them.

However, nothing could have prepared them for the “joke” they received when they saw the finished images.

Pam received a disc of the photos with the faces edited beyond recognition.

The mum told TV station : “I've never laughed this hard in my life.

“My kids were so confused. They thought we were playing a joke on them. They just kept saying they looked like Lego people.”

The photographer claimed that the shadows were bad on the sunny day and she had never been properly taught how to retouch her images.

Taking to Facebook, Pam said: “You can’t make this stuff up… again, this is NOT a joke – final product.”

She isn’t the only one to find the batch of images extremely comical, as her post has been shared over 300,000 times.

Pam said she had asked for the original images, but doesn’t want a refund for the dodgy batch as she said the experience had been “worth every dime” she spent.
