What was the 2017 Cadbury's National Trust 'Easter' egg hunt fiasco?

Lat year, Cadbury and the National Trust also ran over 250 hunts across the UK in the annual Cadbury's Egg Hunt.

But the fact that, in 2017, the event failed to mention Easter in its title meant that the campaign was met with ire from The Archbishop of York.

John Sentamu accused the organisations of "airbrushing faith" and "spitting on the grave" of the chocolate firm's Quaker founder John Cadbury.

But a spokesman for the National Trust said Easter is mentioned numerous times in its marketing literature and on its website, where a "casual glance" shows "dozens" of references.

In a statement Cadbury's said it continues to mention Easter in its marketing and is inviting people "of all faiths and none" to tuck into its treats.
