BRITAIN'S worst places to live have been revealed thanks to a cheeky website where residents slag off their hometowns.
lets anyone pile in on a place they really hate by uploading reviews of what life in Britain's worst towns is really like.
Of course, there's nothing official about any of it - so it often just comes down to one disgruntled resident's word against another's.
But even so, iLiveHere has rounded up the towns which caused the biggest stink in 2017 to create a seriously controversial top ten.
Back in the summer, we gave you the brutal rankings so far for the key contenders, but now the final standings for the year have been confirmed.
From Dover to Blackpool, these were the worst places to live in England in 2017, according to the people who live there.
10. Blackpool
This Lancashire holiday spot is a far cry from its glory days, residents reckon.
One went so far as to say: "Go back a few streets from the prom and you will see the deprivation, the ghettos and the scummy pubs that make up the REAL Blackpool."
9. Oldham
A new entry this year, Oldham, also in Lancashire, has been ranked England's most deprived town, according to the Office for National Statistics.
One critic on iLiveHere said it looks "as though the government has been performing nuclear testing in the area."
8. Sunderland
The only Tyne and Wear town in the top ten, Sunderland attracted plenty of criticism from angry residents.
One comment reads: "It’s a pretty sad place, to be honest. Find somewhere with easy access to Newcastle City Centre and you’ll be happy.”
7. Gravesend
This town in Kent proved so unpopular that it's made its way back into the top ten worst towns after dipping out last year.
One resident joked: "If you must come to Gravesend, please stop by the estate agents and buy my house."
6. Bradford
To be fair, this Yorkshire town has improved its standing after finishing in the bottom three last year.
Despite the slight upturn in Bradford's fortunes, a critical resident said: "Bradford is literally hell on earth."
5. Rochdale
"Leave fast or stay forever," one resident joked about this Greater Manchester town.
Others were just as critical, with a local writing: "Rochdale, once described by Monty Python as a quaint Northern village. I am sure you already recognise this as a misnomer of the greatest degree."
4. Scunthorpe
Just avoiding the dreaded bottom three, this Lincolnshire town was once voted the least romantic place in Britain.
A resident said: "One good thing about Scunthorpe? It takes about 5 minutes from the town centre to get out and go to a better place."
3. Luton
This Bedfordshire town has been unfortunate enough to hold on to its bottom-three position all year.
One critic said: "Thank god there’s 3 motorway junctions, 2 railway stations and an airport that can be used for a swift exit."
2. Hull
In the past, this East Yorkshire port city has been ranked the worst place to live in England - but this year it has dodged a bullet.
Even so, one resident said: "I was born and bred in Hull... what a dump the place is."
1. Dover
Dover has finished the year as the UK's worst place to live, with the Kent port town taking it from all sides.
One resident said: "Dover, as we all know, is the gateway to Europe, and most people that stop here for any reason are normally glad they can leave it behind very quickly."
Currently, is underway to work out whether these rankings need to be updated for 2018.
So far, Huddersfield, Rotherham, Rochdale, Castleford, Accrington and Blackburn are all strong contenders for the next list of worst towns in Britain.
