Mum left reeling after her blonde 12-year-old daughter returned from her dad’s house with blue hair… and it won’t wash out for SIX MONTHS
Taking to Mumsnet, the woman added her daughter could be suspended from school for her dyed locks
THIS mum was absolutely outraged when her daughter returned home from her dad's house with BLUE hair.
, the woman explained her 12-year-old had "beautiful blonde hair" and the dye is semi-permanent, meaning it won't just wash out.
Posting as Ratinthehat, she added: "I've looked up reviews for what they used and there is even news articles about how it ruins blonde hair and stay green for 6months.
"Aibu (am I being unreasonable) to be really p***ed off? He just thinks it's funny and her nan just said 'thank God I didn't do mine too'."
And her fellow mums were shocked with one asking what would happen when the Christmas holidays ended.
One wrote: "OMG! Will she be allowed back to school ? Mine wouldn't".
While another said: "I would be taking her straight to the hairdresser and sending him the bill!"
Adding that it looks "f***ing awful", Ratinthehat said: "She would be suspended if she went to school like it.
"My dd (dear daughter) thinks I'm just over reacting and I'm not as cool as dad".
StepAwayFromGoogle added:" Whaaat?! That's outrageous! Def(initely) get her Dad to pay for treatment. I'd be LIVID!"
And MrsPringles said: "Oh god. That’s a mess. I would be livid that they had a) let her dye her hair blue and b) done such a s*** job."
While MiaowTheCat wrote: "Blue's an absolute bugger to get out of blonde hair yep (teenage hair dye experiments speaking)... you may have to go the hairdresser route on it."

But others thought it wasn't such a big deal.
One wrote: "You can buy hair dye remover which should take out the blue, any bleaching that has happened can’t be reversed so her hair won’t be the same as it was before until it grows out".
While blueskyinmarch added: "It's not great but not the end of the world. Surely at age 12 your DD had a say in it and agreed knowing you might not be happy?
"You may need to work out a way of getting it to fade fast and put a box dye on it for back to school time. Others on here can advise you."
Last week, we reported that a mum had threatened to pull out of a Christmas concert because she thinks Baby It’s Cold Outside is "rapey".
While this mum was left fuming after stranger’s child BIT her daughter – and claimed his mum "didn’t even tell him off".
