As 2017 is coming to an end and we say goodbye to some of the crazier trends from feather eyebrows to diamond beauty blenders, here’s what you’ve got to look forward to next year.

As 2017 draws to an end, we say goodbye to some of the biggest beauty moments of the past 12 months.

We've seen Kylie Jenner's empire grow and enough eyebrow trends to last a life time, but we're left wondering what the beauty gurus have in store for us for 2018.

Here, we take a look at some of the trends to look forward to next year...

Forget K-beauty, say hello to J-beauty

Have you ever wondered how Asian women have such perfect glowing, smooth and hydrated skin?

We may have cracked the secret, they've been exposed to the wonders of Korean beauty, which became a cult with many in 2017.

But make way for a new player in the market: J-beauty.

Tokyo brand Shiseido is long established in the skincare market with concessions in our favourite department stores but brands to look forward to are: Chojyu, Miccosmo and Kracie.

Pollution fighting skincare

We may hate to believe this, but pollution is around us, all the time.

From an innocent train ride to walking down the street, those pesky particles are flying around us all the time and speeding up our ageing process.

Studies show that Brits spent over £3million on anti-pollution skincare since June but, that's a figure set to rise as new brands take on the trend and provide us with even more choice in the coming year.

All-inclusive make-up

2017 was the year of Rihanna. The popstar-turned-beauty mogul surprised us all with her Fenty Beauty line and won her a lot of praise for Pro Filt'r foundation and it's extensive shade range of 40 colours.

Rih stated that she wanted to make something wearable for everyone of every skin tone - and that she did.

Many other brands have been quick to get on the trend and we look forward to seeing more in 2018.

Keep it clean

Forget natural beauty, the next trend out there is 'clean' beauty.

Put simply, clean means products that are free of harmful chemicals, parabens, sulphates, silicones which can enter your bloodstream and cause serious health problems in the future.

The trend is not for the faint hearted as you'll be throwing out 90% of your current make up list - so there goes that £50 face cream - but experts predict it'll be taking over our stores soon.

Mask madness

Face masks have taken over our Instagram feeds in a big way and we've seen a rise in everything from sheet masks to magnetic masks - but what next?

In 2018, there's set to be a rise in masks for every part of the body from hands to chest, arms and even feet to keep us glowing and youthful for another 12 months.
