Who was Meghan Markle's maid of honour?

It was announced that after much speculation over who would land the coveted role, Meghan would not have a maid of honour on her big day after all.

The former actress decided not to have any of her friends in her wedding party.

However, Meghan did have a long list of people she could have chosen from.

These included best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney, actress Priyanka Chopra, Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty and pal Janina Gavankar, also an actress.

But a Kensington Palace spokesman said she simply couldn't decide which of her pals to pick.

He said: "She has a very close-knit group of friends and did not want to choose one over the other."

Who are Meghan Markle's bridesmaids?

Kensington Palace announced on May 16, 2018, the full list of bridesmaids and page boys.

Meghan's bridesmaids were all children.

Here's the full list...

Princess Charlotte

Prince William and Kate Middleton's daughter was chosen as one of Meghan Markle's bridesmaids.

She featured alongside her brother Prince George, who was a page boy.

Charlotte is an experienced bridesmaid - having taken on the role for her aunt Pippa Middleton.

Miss Florence van Cutsem

Florence is Prince Harry's goddaughter.

She is the daughter of Major Nicholas and Alice van Cutsem.

Her uncle, William van Cutsem, was one of the groom's ushers.

Miss Remi Litt and Miss Rylan Litt

Sisters Remi and Rylan are the daughters of Benita and Darren Litt.

Benita is one of Meghan's closest friends and the girls are her goddaughters.

Miss Ivy Mulroney

Ivy is the daughter of the bride's best friend Jessica Mulroney.

Jessica is married to Ben, a Canadian television host and the son of the former Prime Minister.

Ivy's twin brothers John and Brian were page boys at the wedding.

Miss Zalie Warren

Zalie is the youngest of the bridesmaids.

She is the daughter of Zoe and Jake Warren and is Prince Harry's goddaughter.

Who was Prince Harry's best man?

Prince Harry asked his brother Prince William to be his best man at his wedding.

When Prince William tied the knot to Kate Middleton in 2011, he selected Prince Harry for the honour.

Technically tradition dictates there is never a best man at a Royal Wedding, so William was breaking this rule himself when he asked Harry to be his best man.

Instead, there is a role of "supporter" for those closest to the happy couple, but Harry has torn up the rule book like his brother.

And some of the other key players were also been.

What happened to Meghan Markle's bridesmaid's dresses?

In the lead-up to her wedding day, Meghan and her sister-in-law Kate had a row over the bridesmaid's dresses.

It was reported that they fell out because Princess Charlotte's dress did not fit her.

Prince Harry detailed in his book Spare, his and Meghan's version of the row with the Duchess of Cambridge about the dresses.

The initial reports of the argument focused on Kate being left in tears, but Harry has said it was Meghan whom he found "on the floor sobbing".

According to Harry, the text from Kate to Meghan read: "Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home."

Meghan replied: "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since eight am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other moms are doing?"

Kate reportedly responded: "All of the dresses need to be remade."

Harry wrote that Kate came by the next day with flowers and a card to apologise and all the dresses were fixed before the big day.
