Prisoners showcase criminally bad face and neck tattoos in bizarre mugshots

A BIZARRE online gallery has showcased some of the worst tattoos on the faces of prisoners as they pose for their mugshots.

Being banged up is bad enough, so spare a thought for this bunch who not only got put in the slammer, but got caught with some seriously bad ink.

From terrible tattoo eyebrows to badly drawn expletives, it seems that these jailbirds didn't pay much attention who did their inking.

But, there may be a bright side of being locked up - not many will get a glimpse of the awful designs.

One thing's for sure, there's no covering these up.
