In it, and Scaffidi showcased models with dwarfism, in wheelchairs and survivors of cancer to encourage women everywhere to love their bodies.

They told the Huffington Post that they came up with the idea during last year’s Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

"We were sitting there mesmerised by the spectacular fashion designs," they explained.

"We wanted to be angels ourselves, but we knew that wouldn’t be possible."

Focusing on promoting body positivity, they created the “bitesized” franchise with the ethos that there is no one-size-fits-all beauty ideal.

Although they are both fitness influencers with toned, strong physiques, they point out that their height limits them when it comes to modelling opportunities.

Alyse, who is 4ft 11in, observed that she doesn’t see people that size on any type of runway.

This gave her and Lexi the idea of hosting their own fashion show, with the help of producer and director .

Each woman who took part designed their own costume, while music was written exclusively for the occasion and performed by 

Speaking about the event, the sisters said: "The show was not about celebrating obesity or anorexia, it’s about breaking away from a stereotypical look of what is beautiful and celebrating who you are as a person.

"Recreating the VS Fashion Show was our chance to make 21 girls’ dream of being a runway angel come true, and in the process, we hope to inspire body confidence amongst other women."
