Plastic surgery addict Star Delguidice who spent £220,000 to look like Barbie says she is ‘addicted’ because family told her she was ugly
Star Delguidice, 28, claims that her parents insulted her appearance which made her want to dramatically transform the way she looks
MIRRORS hang from every wall of Star Delguidice’s three-bedroom house – and they are all well used.
The 28-year-old is obsessed with her appearance after forking out £200,000 on cosmetic surgery to look like Barbie.
There have been around 200 procedures so far and she has no intention of stopping.
Her biggest to date is an upcoming bum reconstruction inspired by superstar Jennifer Lopez, adding another £20,000 to the running total.
Star says: “All I care about is money and my looks.
“I like to ensure I look my best from every angle.
“If I don’t, I’ll book in another nip or tuck to make sure I do.”
Yet the plastic-surgery addict could not bear to look at her reflection as a youngster.
She says her family called her “fat” and “ugly”, sparking this obsession to drastically remodel herself from the age of 17.
Star’s growing list of cosmetic surgery includes four boob jobs, jaw reconstruction, cheek implants, nipple reduction and three designer vagina procedures.
She was born Stacey and brought up by her strict parents in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
Star, who changed her name by deed poll three years ago, says: “I attended ten different schools and have never had any real friends.
“My family were Jehovah’s Witnesses and we never celebrated Christmas. I wasn’t allowed to go to other kids’ parties at school and this led to bullying.
“I hated my childhood and would often be told other children were prettier than me by my own family.
“I’ve spent all my life not feeling good enough.
“I’m addicted to plastic surgery and I know it’s because of the awful relationship I had with my parents growing up.
“I used to get told I looked like my mum and I hated that.
“The thought of turning into my mum petrified me and I’ve taken drastic action to ensure that never happens.”
Her parents split up when she was ten and she left school three years later without any qualifications when the bullying got worse.
When she was 17, Star says her mum abandoned her.
She says: “I was dropped off at a hostel in Birmingham and told by my mum, ‘You’re on your own now, Stace.’
“When I was left in the hostel I was penniless. I didn’t even own a pair of pants.”

She got a job as a pole dancer and saved enough money to have her first procedure, a boob job, going from a 32AA to a 32C.
By 21, Star, who now works in property, had already undergone two boob jobs, lip filler work and surgery to change her hairline to look like her Barbie dolls.
She followed that up a year later with another boob job, jaw line reconstruction and a brow lift.
Still not content, Star followed it up with liposuction and a hair transplant a few months later.
She saved enough for a deposit on her first house six years ago.
Now, savvy Star does not have to work after ploughing the remainder of her earnings into two more properties, which provide her income.
She says: “After investing my money properly, I’ve transformed myself into the Barbie doll I’ve always wanted to be.”
Her three-storey terraced home in Selly Oak, Birmingham, is full of designer shoes and dresses.
One of the bedrooms has been turned into a dressing room, where it can take her five hours to get ready.
Unrecognisable photos of her taken before surgery are on display in her living room.
There is a life-sized white tiger cuddly toy on the floor of the lounge, fluffy grey and black rugs and glistening chandeliers. No expense has been spared — and Star can afford to laze in bed until 2pm.
Her daily routine involves walking her pet Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, and visiting the nearby tanning salon.

She also finds time to have Botox and fillers once a month, costing £500.
Now, her face is so smooth it looks like plastic.
She has spent the past four months putting on 4st so that surgeons can use her own fat to sculpt the perfect rear end.
Star, who normally weighs 7st, says: “I’ve wanted a bum job since I was a teenager but it’s only now I’ve found the right surgeon in Istanbul.
“I’m not going natural with the size. I’m hoping it’ll look massive and out of proportion.” Star says she has not spoken to her parents properly in ten years.
But she still has pictures of her dad in frames on a windowsill in the living room.
She says: “I still love my dad, we just don’t speak as he hates the plastic look.
“My family hate the look and think I look like a prostitute.
“Most people don’t understand my addiction to surgery but Star is the new me. I don’t associate myself with my past and being Stacey.”
She spends up to £3,000 a month on the Barbie look, including lip and cheek fillers, new make-up and skincare, hair treatments, as well as acrylic nails.
Star says: “I’m very high maintenance but I’ve earned every single penny of my small fortune. I’ve been going under the knife since I was 17 and I don’t think I’ll ever stop changing my body.”
Earlier this year, she suffered a deviated septum after a nose job and she has suffered a number of lip-injection mishaps.
In July, her lips ballooned after too much filler went into them.
Star says: “If you look closely you can see my jaw isn’t symmetrical and I need my teeth veneered.
“I have even had my nipple size reduced.
“I’m always aiming to be perfect. All the surgeries have been worthwhile as I get so many compliments from strangers.
“A lot of young girls ask for photos and say I look like a doll. I give advice to other young girls about where to go for cosmetic procedures.” She also gets plenty of admiring glances from the fellas.
Star says: “I often get stared at in the street by men and have even been followed by cars when walking my dog.”

But for now, Star is happy being single.
She says: “I’ve only ever been in one serious relationship and he loved my look.
“But my plastic obsession has nothing to do with impressing men. I’m not interested in sex.
“I have had three designer vaginas, so it’s brand new.
“I’m in love with myself, no one else.”
