Bradley Walsh does an impression of a contestant on The Chase… and it’s rubbish
The lovable quizmaster hopped over to the OTHER side of the contestant's desk on today's show and delivered a rather dodgy impression of Julie -it wasn't great, but it made her smile and helped make her less nervous as she took on Anne Hegerty
BRADLEY Walsh flexed his acting muscles on today's episode of The Chase.
The 57-year-old, who has previously starred in Coronation Street and will soon be stepping out of The Tardis as Doctor Who's assistant, delivered a rather dodgy impression of one of the contestants.
To bolster Julie's confidence after her teammates were eliminated by The Governess Anne Hegerty, Bradley stepped behind the contestants' panel to give her a pep talk.
Julie wasn't sure whether she should take a gamble and play for a whopping £80,000 or go for the lesser - and safer - figure of £5,000 in her cash builder round.
She was visibly squirming as Anne, 59, delivered the killer figure to her, but big-hearted Bradley quickly stepped in.
Walking to the other side of the desk, he said: "Have a chat with the team, good luck."
He then perched himself where Julie had been sitting moments before and pulled out a pair of thick-rimmed glasses.
"Hello," he said in a funny voice, coaxing a nervous response from Julie.
"What do you think I should do?" she asked, already sounding less worried.
Bradley replied, in his funny voice, "I think maybe..." before speaking normally and telling her to just aim big.
She agreed, saying: "I've always said IF was the last one I'd go for the higher offer, I've got nothing to lose."
Anne was delighted, and the smile that she had tried to hide moments before was just a memory.
Sadly for Julie, Anne made light work of her, outsmarting her on questions about Shakespeare classic Hamlet and catching her after just a few questions.
She also scolded her for having never heard of seventies band Wizzard.
Later she annihilated Julie's teammate Mick with twelve seconds still on the clock.
