Britain’s hotspots for boob, botox and bum enhancements revealed

RESIDENTS of Southend will be DD-lighted – the Essex town has been named boob job capital of Britain.

Here, BEN GRIFFITHS and RACHEL SPENCER report on the UK’s other cosmetic surgery hotspots.

Boobs: Southend

SOUTHEND is the breast enlargement hotspot, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) claims.

Towie’s Frankie Essex, 29, who lives near Southend, had her boobs boosted to a 32EE in 2012.

Around 8,000 women in the UK had boob jobs last year.

Tum: Birmingham

FOR those wanting an image overhaul, Birmingham takes the crown for weight-loss surgery .
And tummy tucks are most popular for those living in nearby Halesowen, in the West Midlands.

Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona, 37, had the op after her fifth child two years ago.

Butts: South London

WOMEN in London are most likely to search for “Brazilian butt lifts” for a perky posterior like Towie’s Chloe Sims, 34.

Mo Akhavani, from the Plastic Surgery Group, told us: “We get two-and-a-half as many inquiries about this from women in South London than anywhere else.”

Nose Job: Surrey

THE most nose-conscious town is Kingston, in Surrey. Julian De Silva, from the Centre for Advanced Facial, said one in 20 of his nose-job patients was from there.

Around 2,700 people across Britain had nose jobs last year, following the lead of ex-Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington, 28.

Botox: Liverpool

LIVERPOOL is not just the Botox capital of Britain, but the world.

More people in the city search online for the facial injection than in any other region across the globe, according to BAAPS.

Actress Danniella Westbrook, 43, was snapped getting Botox in Liverpool last year.

Hair: Manchester

THE Manchester area came top for hair transplants, possibly inspired by footballer Wayne Rooney, 31, who had one in 2011.

Asim Shahmalak, from the Crown Clinic, said many of his patients come from “footballer belt” locations such as Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Prestbury.

Facelift: West London

NOT surprisingly, Kensington in West London is the facelift capital.

The area is home to the Royals, Harrods and TV presenter Anne Robinson, 73, who is a fan of the treatment.

Dr De Silva said 12 per cent of his patients live there.

Eyes: Essex

CHIGWELL in Essex is the town where people opt for eye-lift surgery, with The Apprentice boss Lord Alan Sugar, 77 – who admitted to having his bags removed – residing there.
