We test workout gear to see which brands’ leggings will leave your behind exposed
After London nanny Kimberley Williams was mortified to learn her Puma leggings were see-through, we put some other fitness leggings to the squat
WITH close-fitting workout gear already leaving little to the imagination, fitness fans are at risk of being even more exposed than they realise.
London nanny Kimberley Williams, 27, was embarrassed when she discovered her Puma leggings were see-through.
So SIOBHAN O’CONNOR squat down to some research and asked Isla Reyn, 26, from Reading, to test some of the biggest brands to see which pass the booty test.
She rates them out of five, er, bottoms.
Pink Soda at JD Sports: 🍑🍑🍑
“The waistband is flattering but they’re definitely see-through. Will get worse after washing.”
Adidas 🍑🍑🍑🍑
“These don’t show my thong but I do think they might fade after a few washes.”
New Look: 🍑🍑
“My whole thong is visible, they definitely don’t pass the squat test.
"Best kept for lounging around on the sofa, not the gym.”
Puma: 🍑
“Not the same style as Kimberley’s but these are really sheer too.
"Everyone in the gym would get a right eyeful if I wore these, they don’t hide anything.”
Odlo.com 🍑🍑🍑
“Luckily the waistband sits over my thong, so it’s not as obvious compared to some of the others.”
M&S: 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑
“By far the best. They are really thick. I don’t think they will fade, even after washing.”
Pineapple:🍑🍑
“Really comfortable, but not a good choice for a strenuous workout.”
